Mission – To ensure that all Minnesota children in grades K-12 and children from historically under served populations have access to the computer technology needed to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for accomplished academic performance and career success in the knowledge economy.

Computers are essential tools for preparing children for their future. Technology skills are already a major requirement for employment. Minnesota schools have made a commitment to infuse technology into the learning process.

To help schools meet their computer needs, Minnesota Computers for Schools (MCFS), in partnership with Minnesota corporations, government agencies and other organizations, refurbishes donated computer equipment and provides that technology to schools at a minimal charge.
